SHADES OF BLACK

Photography represents the idea of absolute truth, but what is a photograph? It is a print, an object, a file on your computer. It is a document, a snapshot taken with your phone or it can capture a situation staged for the camera. Building my own "no tech" cameras or leaving the camera out and working directly on photographic paper allow me to reduce the photographic process to the basics of creating an image.
