THIS IS ART NOW VOL.1

This project consists of researching and gathering – in a process close to the curatorial – users from Google´s 3D software SketchUp, who are creating and sharing virtual objects in the software´s Warehouse.

The selected objects have been reinterpreted as works of art, by using (specifically created or found) SketchUp scenarios as exhibition spaces and using this software to document the pieces. A series of art writers were invited to contribute with a critical text about the practice of each "artist", providing a context for their work.
