The Present

by Maria Anwander

In her intervention in public space titled 'The Present', Maria Anwander placed a two-ton bllock of limestone on Place d'Armes in the middle of Luxembourg city center. An inscription carved in the stone informs us that the stone was a donation from the artist to the City of Luxembourg in 2012.The stone was brought to the public place without the knowing of the authorities of the city in a secret dawn action.
