Sören Meschede is one of the four people who work for the Madrid-based project platform and cultural association Hablar en Arte.
The philosophy of Hablar en Arte is to always collaborate with other people or entities, and to implement its projects into the institutional, private or public spheres that best fit to the proposed activities: educational projects in state museums, performance events which take place in bars, hairdressers, chapels or in the street, traveling exhibitions conceived to be shown in national and international mid-size museums or promotion activities such as the Curators’ Network. The common ground of all these undertakings is that they should be free of charge and should have been created and produced by the association itself.
Within Hablar en Arte, Sören is currently investing a lot of time in the organisation of current and future activities of the Curators’ Network. Besides that, he likes to work in settings that subtly seek to interact with the public, such as the series of performative events "Palabras Habladas" and "A Ciegas", and the exhibition project "Biblioteca Intervenida".
