Eszter Szabó

I was born in 1979. I live and work in Budapest. My art explores two main areas: painting and video. I graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, in 2006. I took part in several workshops, residencies in New York (2012), Paris (in 2010), in Bielefeld, Germany (in 2010) and in Salzburg, Austria (2006). In 2010 I won the Derkovits Scholarship. Since I graduated I have had several solo exhibitions: the Taiss Gallery, Paris, in Jozsa Gallery, Bruxelles , in Videospace, Budapest and in Artists Unlimited, Bielefeld. I also took part in numerous group shows and art fairs: New York, Berlin, London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Brussels, Klaipeda, Bratislava, Salzburg, Eisenstadt, etc.
