Edisabel Marrero Tejeda

Edisabel Marrero studies Master's Degree at the Center for Asian and African Studies, specializing in Japanese culture and society, at the Colegio de México. Has a BA in Art History from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of Havana University. She was Researcher and Curator at the Contemporary Art Center Wifredo Lam (CACWL), and was part of the Havana Biennial Organizing Committee, as well as part of the Curatorial team of the 12th Edition of the event. She was also integrant of the Editorial Program of the CACWL, co-managing the publication of Biennial’s Catalogs and Theoretical Event Books, among others. In 2014, was Research Fellow of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in South Korea. She also collaborates with the Faculty of Arts and Letters (Havana University) as Degree Thesis Tutor and Jury for the Students Scientific Meeting.
