Art Spy is the new blog of Curators’ Network

Blog Art Spy > The board comments

Art Spy is a dynamic tool that provides a first-hand insight about the activities and the protagonists of Curators’ Network - artists, curators, researchers and writers.

Art Spy is a new and dynamic tool for visibilizing the activities of Curators’ Network and its protagnists - artists, curators, researchers and writers. With Art Spy we want to highlight, sharpen our eyes for new narratives and ways to do things differently. The blog is not looking for information to feed the market but for thoughts, reflections and insights that promote interest for the arts’ diversity and complexity.

Art Spy has three clear objectives:

  • Help to report on the activities of Curators’ Network through articles and comments of the concerned professionals who take part in the the activities that Curators' Network carries out in collaboration with its partners in the whole world: mostly curatorial and artistic residencies, seminars and conferences
  • Help to enhance the visibility of the professionals in the database of Curators' Network through online activities such as assignments for online curating and for special reports on cultural agents that are represented in the database
  • Help to open our minds towards local clusters through our substantial network of independent correspondents – artists, art historians, critics, curators, researchers et al. – that have a special expertise in the art scenes they will report or comment on.
