LIKE U. European cultural residencies in Ukraine

International gathering "European Cultural Residences", held in the Carpathian village of Tatariv, Ukraine

Curators' Network was invited to the international seminar "European Cultural Residences", organized by the Ukrainian charity funds Dofa.fund and ZenkoFoundation, was held in the Carpathian village of Tatariv on November 2-6, 2017.

The main objectives of the seminar "European Cultural Residences" were:
- establishing of lasting ties between cultural institutions of Ukraine and Europe;
- discussing the common vision of cooperation within the framework of the development of the program of residences for artists and partnerships and prospective application for the Creative Europe program;
creating a network of partner institutions working with multidisciplinary cultural projects and promoting common values: the integrity of the EU, the inclusion of Ukraine in the European cultural context, tolerance, equal partnership etc.

 

A total of 24 representatives of cultural institutions from 11 countries of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Grear Britain, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Portugal, France, Hungary, as well as curators and art managers from different cities of Ukraine: Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernivtsi, Odessa, Kharkiv and Kyiv, participated in the seminar "European Cultural Residences".
